 - 25 years later and they FLY once more -

25 years ago I took my parents for a flight to Newcastle to visit some friends. Today I once again had the pleasure to take them flying.

I always joke that my parents are sometimes like my dog and I say this with all the respect. The dog does not let an opportunity go by and jumps into the car as soon as the door is open. Mom and Dad are similar when it comes to flying. Open the door of the aircraft and they are in.

This is the first time they have flown with me since I have had my PPL renewed. As a matter of fact they are basically my first passengers apart from the flight I did with Gerda. OK so that actually makes them no 2 & 3.

I am exceptionally happy about getting my license back even if it is a major effort getting in and out. Every time I struggle I am once again assured that building my own accessible aircraft was the correct decision despite the wait and hardships. Every time I now fly I wish it was in my own aircraft.

Just the motivation I need to carry on!
