The hand controls arrived from Australia today. What excitement.

I need to keep my license current until such time as the Seawind is complete and there has been over whelming support from people I don't even really know.

In January I approached Steve Marais who owns a Cherokee 235, and asked him if he would be prepared to allow me to fit hand controls to his aircraft so that I can stay current until such time as the Seawind would be complete. It was his generosity that started this amazing experience.

Then with the kind help of Athol Franz and AFRICAN PILOT a request was sent out asking for financial assistance to help me import approved hand controls from Australia. The follow people responded within hours and I would like to acknowledge their contribution.

I really wish to thank them all.
